Same here also (UK via NTL). A few USA websites are very slow or don't 
work also.

NO it is NOT a "British Empire" thing! I am in the US and I am having
problems too.
It must be something new to Berkeley because the Server Status page
still says everything is just fine. Cogent did have some issues last
nite but the connection seems to be fine now.


Connection contacts are still struggling, nearly 12 hours from the end
of last night's database maintenance/back up outrage.

Anyone from the Berkeley SSL SETI Team care to let us know what the
issue might be? This can be via the web page announcements or posted
here :-((
