So why the reluctance to change?

we are crunching behind a proxy (and setiqueue) but our security
engineer will never let us crunch for boinc with a direct connection
to the internet.!
so we have to quit at the end of seti classic at 600k+.
maybe there will be a possibility to crunch behind a proxy in the
future...
