The BOINC SETI screensaver is absolutetly worthless.  It is butt ugly and
gobbles resources.  Why do they even bother including it?

Go to S@h website, log into your account and select seti@home preferences.
Choose custom settings. Now you are able to switch of wobbling (set horizontal/
vertical oszillation and range to 0), set stars to 0 and reduce max. CPU %.

Or just select the predefined setting "minimalist".
