I've got 14 wu's 'ready to report' but none have transferred to my Transfers

My old 1.66 GHz pc from a few years ago used to process 1 wu per 8 hours.
This is computer is 3 GHz & out of the 14 wu's I just mentioned, the best
CPU time is 07:06:08 hours, the worst is 14:08:36 hours.

Something has changed & it's not for the better.

Sounds like you've run into the WinXP process priority bug. MS changed the
priority of some system processes to the same priority used by Berkeley,
causing a resource fight. Check the archives for this group on Google
and you should find details.

I know someone who had the same problem; he tweaked a few things and his
crunch time went from 6+ hours to a bit over 2.
