I've got 14 wu's 'ready to report' but none have transferred to my
Transfers page.
My old 1.66 GHz pc from a few years ago used to process 1 wu per 8
hours.
This is computer is 3 GHz & out of the 14 wu's I just mentioned, the
best
CPU time is 07:06:08 hours, the worst is 14:08:36 hours.
Something has changed & it's not for the better.
This is getting way beyond stupid. Since I started running BOINC, I've
seen
wu Completion Time go from 3 hrs - 3 1/2 hours - 4 hours - 6 hours. Now
it's
10:58:52, almost eleven hours. If I get an abacus for christmas I'll be
able
to race my computer processing wu's.
Sounds like you are optimizing the wrong thing.
Thanks for the suggestion, now we're smokin'. From the 10:58 down to 3:43
Thanks.
Now THAT is the right direction!!!!!!
