If you takes all these statements together, you see that even in the
off-chance the server still accepts results after 15.12.2005, there
will be no point to return anything since the stats are frozen, and
the results will not be used for science.


This also means there's no point to cache anything more than normal,
but instead should slowly decrease cache-size the closer is to
shutdown.

Thanks.  This doesn't match what they told us a few months ago:  That
they'd give us a date when they'd stop sending out WUs, and another
deadline for returning results.  It makes absolutely no sense to keep
sending out WUs right up to the shutdown because the last ones sent
out will never be returned.  But I'm not surprised; this is far from
being the first time they've ignored their previously-announced plans
and done something that doesn't make sense.  Anyway, thanks again for
the information.  I'll try to arrange to have my cache loaded so that
it runs out on the evening of the 14th.
