These settings make sense, so thanks for that.
Working a little more with the problem - I recalled that upon installation
BOINC said something about working only while someone is logged on -
so you can't have your screen password protected while looking at the
screensaver?
It doesn't make any sense to me - but tried to remove the passwd
protection -
and then the screensaver worked? Why is that? and is there a way around
that?
In classic I saw both the screensaver and had my screen passwd protected!

The use no more than 75% of total virtual memory again is not listed
by you and could also be a problem if you are short of hard drive
space. Again the C: drive is normally where this resides, if it is
close to being full this could be part of the problem.
