Working a little more with the problem - I recalled that upon installation
BOINC said something about working only while someone is logged on -
That is where you can install Boinc as a service. However, you lose the
screensaver by installing that way. You can still use various 3rd part
add-ons for fancy graphics.
(Anyhow, the fancy graphics slow down the WUs a little :-( I've not seen
them for a very long time now so that I get faster crunching :-) )
so you can't have your screen password protected while looking at the
screensaver?
There's has been a problem with Window's quirkiness for password
protecting the screensaver for some time now. Looks like noone has found
a fix or workaround.
