And how about those whose current alarm clocks work just fine, and who
have no desire to learn to program a different one?
Have you not heard that the world (and science) moves on?
Continuing the analogy, have you not realised that the days are a few
seconds longer than when you first set your alarm clock? You are
literally falling behind the times!
(OK, sorry for the multiple bad puns!! See notes below.)
s@h-classic has had a remarkable good run of SIX YEARS. We've learnt a
lot in that time. Few science projects ever last that long and indeed
the funding for s@h-classic has or is about to die.
From what has been learnt from s@h-classic, new and more thorough ideas
are being put to work with Boinc and Boinc-s@h for which new funding can
be sought. Science moves on.
Boinc has already spawned an impressive amount of other new science already!
All good stuff.
Sorry, but change is inevitable! You can roll with the Earth. Or you can
stay where you are and we might pick you up again in a years time. (Or
would we miss him? Anyone know how far we shift along the galactic orbit??)
Good luck,
Martin
Notes: A: The Earth's rotation is being slowed due to tidal forces with
our moon, hence our days are forever creeping longer. Don't tell the
accountants! B: And we are all in free-fall around our sun.
