Hi all,
Has anyone else been having problems with boinc stuck with uploading WU's or
not switching projects?
I have several seti work units waiting to be sent, and its been stuck on
uploading since yesterday.
Also, it doesn't seem to be switching to other projects, even though I'm
running four in total.
I can't see anything wrong with my settings.

The problem lies with the SET servers at the SSL, Berkeley. There is
nothing wrong with your software or settings.
There is problems with uploading WU results, although the downloading of
WUs to crunch is so badly affected. This has been going on for about 24
hours now.
Just let your BOINC Manager run normally, and as soon as the SETI team
as SSL has sorted the problem, then the results build (Transfers tab on
BOINC Manager) will clear.
Why this is happening is not known, however it is to do with requests on
the servers overloading them. Some are speculating the server is
overloaded as many SETI Classic users are coming across to BOINC.
There is also a post yesterday on the main SETI web site (I quote) -
December 4, 2005
We are experiencing heavy traffic on our data server. This is
preventing some workunit/core client downloads. We are working on the
problem
One of the SETI team posted that some applications on the upload server
were suffering memory leaks and affecting other programmes.
How long the issue will take to resolve is with the Gods and the SETI
team. They will be back on duty about 5.00 pm UK time.
