Contributing for the science is the best way to go reguardless of
which project you choose to support. As I was trying to explain to a
friend the other day, SETI layed the ground work which enables the
other projects to benefit from distributed computing. Perhaps it would
be in order to have SETI as a second project in BOINC in case your
primary one is down or runs out of work.
