You
can choose to have BOINC connection via your regular Internet
connection. I'm connected
so often that I just have BOINC detect the settings...
Thank you for your response but it doesnt answer any of my questions.
Are you really a software engineer, or do you just play one on TV? That's
strictly
rhetorical.

This has run fine like this for 5 years.
Could somebody please please please tell me how to set up boinc to do
this.
You want your BOINC Manager to send and fetch work units unattended. Me,
too! I don't know
how to explain it any better. Hmmm. Try this:
In the BOINC Manager toolbar, the fourth choice is "options". If you left
click it, the
get a drop down "options". If you left click that, an "Options" box opens.
Left clicking
the second tab, "Connections" opens anothx with three options for
connecting to the
Internet. Depending on what sort of connection you have with you ISP, you
can make a
choice.
Play with fire! Zildjan drum sticks
I understand that part. How do I get Boinc to run only as a screensaver and
to request permission to the internet exactly as I had classic running.
