I went into my account and saw that it already says 'up to 2' processors ...
perhaps that was the default.
I am not at my hyperthreading desktop PC now, but if, when I see its Task
Manager, there is only one instance of BOINC ... what would that mean ?
That Hyperthreading is not being implemented ? I gather from all that has
been said that BOINC is smart enough to use both processors by itself.

By the way I am in the ClimatePrediction group, not SETI. I mentioned
SetiDriver from my Seti @home days.
Regarding making the change in my Account (on the website): I have BOINC
running on several machines now. I use the same account for all of them.
Only one is Hyperthread capable. I have not set up the different
computers
on the website ... should that have been done ? Does your advice still
stand
Yes his advice still stands.
I have a dual Xeon with HT on each CPU (OS and BOINC Manager sees 4
processors). I upped my CPU use in my preferences to 4. This means the
Xeon system used all CPUs (real and virtual) . All other PCs run as
normal (1 or 2 CPUs).
