Well, I have read all the wiki stuff. Read all the posts here. Still,
cannot get this thing to do anything at all. No workunits downloaded. The
manager has nothing but blank screens no matter which tab I select. Help??

They stopped the downloads from Kryten to help the download backlog.
This seems to be working very slowly, as I nave doubled the number of
completed WUs showing "ready to report". However, the upload side, and
"getting through to the server", is still painful. Too many users and
hosts trying, and the system resembling a DOS attack.

Unfortunantly, returning results for Classic is also not working well. If
I hit File > Connect > (time value) in SETI Queue repeatedly, I can force
uploads to go--sometimes. (I.e., it worked an hour ago, it's not working
now.) However, that's a lot of clicks when I have 61 results ready and
69 WU in process.

I still think turning off the shutdown message would alleviate some of the
load, but the staff certainly knows more about how everything interacts at
the SSL, and I'll be done in a few days no matter what, so it's not a big
deal.
