Having problems connecting to www.yahoo.com can indicate you've got
some problems with your internet-connection, but there's likely many
new sign-ups to SETI@Home/BOINC to-day so it's possible their
scheduling-server is difficult to connect to...
You still needs to configure proxy-setup, but if you copy the file
account_setiathome.berkeley.edu
from a working BOINC-installation you don't need to manually "attach"
on each computer, and even if fails to connect to scheduling-server it
will just re-try a little later.
