I just installed Boinc with only the Seti project a couple hours ago. It
seems to be running OK. I am using the Seti classic screen saver. It will
not hold still. It keeps bending and weaving about. Is there any way I
can make it hold still?
Visit the "Your Account" section on the SETI-BOINC website
( http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/home.php ) and select the
"View or edit SETI@home preferences" link. Then click on
the "Edit SETI@home preferences" link. In the "Graphics
Preferences" box, select Custom and then click on the
"Update Preferences" box. Now go to the bottom and
again click on the "Edit SETI@home preferences" link.
You will now see boxes for Horizontal oscillation period
and Vertical oscillation period. Set these to zero to stop
movement of the graphics.
