a great example of a person that doesn't like change (for the better)
your work unit count is stored alongside your boinc credit for starters
on the other hand, in general i do agree the client could be better for end
users

Now I am having to run this user-hostile Boinc thing, it seems all my

has disappeared. I may have done a paltry 760+ wu's over six years on
various slow PC's, but it was still a contribution and better than
nothing.
Now even that's gone.
However, in recognition of the services I have rendered, I have found a
solution....
If I go Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs, Click Boinc and
Remove,
then I can empty a bit of my hard drive and come back when this Boinc
thing
has been replaced with something better and more friendly - such as the
classic Seti.
