Best way is to backup the entire boinc directory on the old system. 
Install the same boinc version on the new system.
Stop boinc on the new system, and copy the backup from the old system to 
the new system.

Thanks...I was thinking of doing that but wasn't sure if it would affect
the files and work units or not.

Would it matter that he's going from a basic P4 to an AMD dual core?
