If you want to run only 1 instant of SETI then you need to enter your
account general preferences and reset it there.
The process is -
S@H web site (http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/), go to the top of the
screen and click on - /Your Account/Log in/ - and enter your name and
password. Click *Log in with e-mail / password*
Scroll down to "View or edit General Preferences", and click on it.
On the new screen, scroll down to "edit preferences" and click on it.
On the new screen scroll down to *On multiprocessors, use at most* and
type in 1 (or 2, or more) dependent on the number of S@H WUs you want to
run. If you want to alter any of the other preferences now is the time.
When all the alterations are completed, scroll to the bottom of the
screen and click on *Update Preferences*.
This completes the changes, and the next time BOINC Manager contacts the
servers (sending a completed WI) then your General Preference changes
will be acted on.

Hi there!
I seem to have made some sort of mistake when migrating BOINC to my new home
computer. It is running seti@home only, none of the other projects. The
problem is that it is alwasy running 2 seti work units simultaneously. I
have tried stopping one and setting it off again when the other is done. I
have tried letting the comuter run out of work and only then allowing a new
connect. Nothing seems to help, it is now working on 2 units again. Any
ideas?
Thanks,
Martina
