Good summary. Yep, that lot can be very multiply redundant if there's enough money for the hardware and internet connections.

Unfortunately, Berkeley have hit another hard bottleneck. They've run out of blank SDLT tapes for Arecibo. They can't record any more new data because they have no tapes to record onto!

Anyone got some tapes to spare?
Anyone want to sponsor the postage Arecibo <--> Berkeley?
