The DSN, from my understanding [of the text] has all the source data.
The text seems to indicate that it will be very different from SETI in real world operation, but using a lot of the SETI client source code and methods.

Private BOINC projects should be welcome -- not all projects should originate from government funded labs.
This project seems to be mixed GOV-PRIVATE.

Now, those project ideas might be ok if there was some good solid new research to back up the (badly written whimsical) ideas there.

As already mentioned, in their present form, my opinion is that those web pages are very likely just a scam.
