Right on, f/fgeorge.

We truth "crackpots" are by far their biggest JOB SECURITY problem.

Unlike NASA, I just toss out whatever fax comes in that's of no
concern.

In which case we have; Astrobiology: The Case for Venus by; Geoffrey

is another "crackpoot" that's much like John Ackerman and so many
others that are willing to consider the possibility that our published
mainstream science is somewhat skewed if not sequestered deep into the
nearest space toilet.

I could list dozens if not hundreds of accepted science that's not
within the NASA game plan, many of which are serious job security
concerns of NASA having to cover thy butt, or else.

The whole pont I was trying to make, YOU MISSED!!! I was making the
point that LOTS of people have ideas, some good some not so good.
Scientists have their time already scheduled, for them to stop what
they are doing and to listen to us not currently in their sphere is
NOT going to be an easy job, NOR SHOULD IT BE!
I used your name as one that has tried for a very long time to get the
attention of NASA to do what you consider to be important research,
they are not interested at this point in time to give up what they are
already doing and move over to "your" project.
The person I was replying to thinks "they have a better idea" and NASA
should stop what they are doing and listen to it. I was explaining why
that will not happen.
