You forgot to mention that being sufficiently brown-nosed and/or Jewish
is absolutely imperative.

BTW;  Derek Lyons is yet another well known status quo or bust sort of
brown-nosed SETI minion, thus anything that's getting too close to the
truth gets to be stalked and summarily bashed without a stitch of
remorse.  The best thing to do is to kill him (oops, I meant killfile
that sorry sucker).
