I need to pass on a technical proposal relating to craft mission
telecommunications (telemetry reception).
The nature of the proposal does not need traditional peer review as it
is a distributed computing project.
I would like to pass the same proposal on to the (North American branch
of the) European Space Agency (ESA), as NASA may be totally inept or
downright unhelpful when it comes to implementing the proposal.
NASA's monopoly on space research vanished long ago -- and NASA and its
"hanger ons" may lack either the intellect or will power to implement
this proposal.
Hello,
I'm Max Power and I have a proposal. Probably you're too stupid to
understand why it is so important, that's why I fax it to you. Someone
told me that insulting you in public increases the chances of my proposal
to be read by you and to be successful. "There's no lubrication like a
good solid insult", my mom always said.
I'm an expert on telecommunications, that's why I use advanced
communication devices like fax, as facsimile transmission is the
communication method of the future - now you'll probably realize how
state-of-the-art my proposal will be.
That someone also gave me your direct fax number, so I can pester you with
miles of toilet paper coming out of your fax machines to remind you of
your lack of intellect and will power.
Concerning your intellect and will power I want to remind you that I
hosted over 300 space missions to Alfa Centauri, twelve holiday mission to
the M31, and maintaion an daily train service to Pluto myself.
Don't hesitate to call yourself stupid as well, and my proposal brilliant.
I'll notify the dimwits at ESA of my brilliant plans as well, as I want to
make friends around the world.
Yours truly,
Max Power
