I didn't change anything from the install. It boots with the BOINC
manager screen which then disppears, not just minimized.

I just run Boinc manual everytime, so I can make sure that there are 
no error messages and that it is running ok.

I check it on my machines once every couple of weeks or if I have some
indication I should.

It just runs in the background. although the three machines haven't
received any new WUs in a day and a half so I'll be running out about
mid day tomorrow if they are not back up.
It's uploading fine, just not downloading.
