Thanks for the reply. Is it already installed then? When will it kick
in? When I start, I see:

Starting BOINC client version 5.2.13 for windows_intelx86

BOINC is the communication and managing part of the system, that
has not changed.

The SETI@Home project now has two science applications. It is
transitioning from setiathome to setiathome_enhanced. You saw
the download and installation of the enhanced version, and that
is only sent when some of the work you were sent needs it. For
a month or so there will be work for both applications, so when
a WU starts the message may be either "using setiathome version
418" or "using setiathome_enhanced version 512".

Hi. I finished another two packets. On my next download, not only
did
a get another packet, but also got the following files:

setiathome_5.12_windows_intelx86.exe
libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll
seti512.jpg
setiathome_5.12_AUTHORS
setiathome_5.12_AUTHORS
setiathome_5.12_COPYING
setiathome_5.12_COPYRIGHT
setiathome_5.12_README

Just what are these files? Where are they on my hard drive? If the
seti application did a live update, why is the version still listed as
v5.3.12? Just wondering...Dennis

v5.3.12 is the Boinc version
The other files are in the projects folder.
This is all a part of Seti Enhanced
