Could someone post this in the BOINC messageboards? Maybe it's
nothing, but I don't want to get into that hornets nest.

Here's a link to Crunch3r's web page as cached by Google.
http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:uOLqC991NOoJ:calbe.dw70.de/
+&hl=en&gl=ca&ct=clnk&cd=1&client=firefox-a

Watch the word wrap.

If it's no longer available I quote..."Recently i've build SETI
apps. for Linux on i686, P3, Athlon and Athlon XP based on
Harolds sources."
The link to "Harolds sources" is :http://naparst.name/sources.htm

I hope this can be of help to someone.

Crunch3r has asked that all versions of his software for Seti be
deleted from peoples computers

1. these links don't work because the dl links there are referenced to
the original location and this site is down.

2. cruncher can ask but you don't have to follow. it is not illegal to
use his versions and i will use them until berkeley won't send new
work on this.
