It looks like a problem with the screensaver. I will search over the 
SETI Message boards, there was a simliar problem reported by other Intel 
Mac users.
So far I know, would this problem on the Intel Macs only occur if the 
screensaver is enabled. If the screensaver would be disabled, it's 
running stable.

Some Windows machines have screensaver issues. People are starting to
think it is adaptor specific, maybe that is in error.
