For further progress, how long will it be before the Vatican slowly
argues it's way out of the mess of their farcical 'interpreting' of the
Bible 'literally'?
I have some friends that believe that way, we have some "great"
discussions sometimes. I keep telling them it is their job to try and
convert me to their point of view, God did tell people to 'spread the
word' after all. They keep telling me it is hopeless!
It is not hopeless at all! Even I truly believe that someone known by
the name "Jesus" did indeed "resurrect the dead" and showed people "The
Light".
However, be very careful about what might actually be meant by that.
Language evolves very quickly and can change greatly over the span of
two thousand years... Socrates had some very pertinent ideas on this!
_Any_ /good/ argument should win on its own merits.
However, I do have great argument against various Marketing
tomfoolery... (And also against the various tomfoolery with nearly all
religions.)
Keep searchin',

Martin
