at 100% continuously.

This resulted in the intel processor frying itself from the inside.

Then you had a configuration problem in your BIOS; there should be a
thermal shutdown setting to prevent damage when the CPU overheats. Some
motherboards also have a warning setting that generates an audible alert
that there's a problem. Unless you were running really old hardware...

What CPU, HSF, motherboard, case fan setup?

I was wondering if Seti had killed or any other pcs?

I ran a couple of dozen different systems at 100% for months on end with
no processor failures. CPUs included Intel, AMD and Cyrix parts. Most of
the hardware was scavenged or bought as components.

Something was wrong with your system; any PC should be able to run at
100% CPU indefinantly.
