He normally resides in sci.astro.amateur, although I first saw him
posting in uk.sci.astronomy (a once-thriving group that was killed-off

Chris is IMO a comic genius and is often misunderstood; you have to
imagine a smiley at the end of each line...
Do you suppose there's any chance of convincing him to use paragraphs?
I enjoy what I can manage to read of his, um, essays, but it gets
to be like wading through molasses after a while.
