If you are running seti@home on a quad-core under linux x86_64 can you
please post your cpu temps? (especially if you are running an optimized
seti app like AK_V8_linux64)
I trying to get a feel as to what normal cpu temps should be with 4
seti@home's running under BOINC (1 app per core)
Thanks
Eric

My duo core runs about 43-44° C MacBook Pro

Sorry the actual CPU diode measures at 75° C

so if the diode says 75c why do you day its 44c?

Case temperature?

I have a Core2Duo E8400 on Win2Kpro and my current core temp is
40c/104f with a case temp of 37c/98f. I have three 500 gig drives
in the case, too. Ambient room temp is 26c/79f.
