I thought I would restart SETI@Home on my nice new system. But I soon found that the new programme is nothing like the proper SETI@Home that I was using in 1999.

This BOINC thing is riddled with problems and I want it off my system. When I went looking for the uninstall routine
I couldn't find it.

I'll need an answer soon or I will have scrap and rebuild my system in order to get rid of it.

Which klutz thought of never having an Uninstall routine; and having virtually no way to contact any of you people to get answers? I searched page after page trying to find the contact email address.

This certainly is not the SETI project that I used to know.

I'm sorry that you are having problems, tho, many, many others are running Seti without issues.

What operating system?

If windows, in an administrator account, Control panel, add/remove programs, select Boinc to remove. Then delete the sub directory(s), and you are done.
