Well, yes, I do try to look at everything and make some sense out of it, and yes, thank you, for
whatever reason it is consolative to read that someone else is having similar problems.
As of 8:04 AM PDT on thursday, 6/18/09, very close to my 10 year anniversary, by the way, the
longest 'As of' time is 48m and growing. There usually seem to be 3 'As of' times. The 'Current
result creation rate' is currently 5m, with a not so good value of 0.4916/sec and shrinking,
indicating the true value is probably close to or equal to zero. The 'Master database
queries/second', 'Replica seconds behind master', and the 'Transitioner backlog (hours) all have 'As
of' times of 0m. Zero always makes me suspicious with computers. Is it really zero; is something
broken; or is it outside the measurement range? 'MDB queries/second' of 264 sounds like a reasonable
number. It would be nice if there was a range of normalcy, like when you get your tests back from
the doctor, not that I know what most of those numbers mean either. 'Replica seconds behind master'
of 71 sounds a bit high. If it's like a RAID array, wouldn't I want the replica to be miliseconds
behind, not seconds or minutes? And where is all that data sitting while it's catching up? If the
place where all that data sits goes down, does that mean all the 'ketchup' data gets lost?
All the other 'As of' times are now holding at '58m'. 'Result turnaround time' has been shrinking
from around 130 hours to about 99 hours. That sounds sort of like the effluent is flowing. 'Results
ready to send is at 76,771. That sounds like there is water behind the dam. 'Results received in the
last hour' is at 11,330. Why are mine not among them?
All in all, the 'Server status page' looks kind of like one that one would create for one's boss,
who might look at it occasionally, notice that most everything is green, the numbers keep changing,
then goes off and focuses on something else. It's certainly better than nothing.
Thanks for your help. No doubt it will eventually fix itself.

I have had trouble downloading workunits since early Tuesday morning. During all that time the
"server status page" has indicated all is more or less well.
Didn't you notice the 'As of' time, at one point I saw 7h in there
which made me think all was not well :-)
Anyway I've got the same problem as you if it's any consolation with
similar errors on trying to upload results and no attempt to fetch new
ones.
