I went out last night to Seti Homepage and noticed they had a upgrade
version. So I downloaded and tried to install it. It came up with a
missing download installation (51772F9.............). I been running
Seti for years and never had problem till now. It was one of the few
problems, that Vista POS didn't crash. I am now using Windows XP
Professional.

Per Goggle:
Plan A: Find a earlier copy of Boinc and intall it then immediate
uninstall it. Tried this and didn't work. Uninstall though Windows
Remove stopped because of missing download instruction.

Plan B: Go out and do a Regedit. Delete the Software/Boinc files.
Reboot system and tried install and no go again same problem.

Plan Ed getting pissed: Went back out to Register and find a second
Boinc Directory which deleted and rebooted. No again same problem.

I did an search on "Boinc" deleted everything I could find on the
drive. Rebooted and tried install again. Same damn message about the
Download Installment.

Went to Seti Website and check no one online to help. So I download
the two old verson of Seti, they still had out there and tried
installing them. No go.

I been running Seti since the Win98 days and I this problem has me
total stumped. Anyone got and ideas? I assuming I missing something in
this installment but don't see it.

TIA
Ed
