To clarify, I was talking about Jesus, the son of God, saviour of the 
human race, resurrected miracle worker... not someone who couldn't 
perform miracles but just happened to be called Jesus.

By all means, feel free to produce such historical factual evidence 
pertaining to his existence.

I am referring to the the Jesus referenced in historical religious
texts. For what appears to be a reasonably unbiased work on the

I'm not sufficiently interested in this discussion to go scouring the
net for links to support my argument.

As to his magical abilities and lienage, I attribute that to the ardor
of the members of his cult - er, prophets.

I see Jesus in pretty much the same light as Jim Jones who had the
ability to turn water into magical Kool-Aid. ;)
