UFO Witness Demographics

One of the perennial areas of interest lies in the demographics of UFO witnesses. Yet, despite conflicting claims, very few studies have been done. This page references data from those studies and extends their analysis.

• Dr. J. Allen Hynek's "The UFO Experience" witness demographics were provided by Dr. Hynek as part of his first book on the subject. These are rudimentary demographic data (witness profession or role) by Hynek classification of the UFO event reported. The data have been transcribed, and the professions / roles categorized into groups. The resulting statistics have then been analysed usng graphs.
