"a big ball of bluish fire hovering a couple of feet off the ground directly
alongside the car. There was a funny sound, too, like a low hum... the light
seemed to back away slightly while the hum increased in volume... we got
into town it was after 12:30. It seemed like we only looked at that light
for a couple of seconds. But somehow it must have taken two hours."[footnote
