1/1/70 - Miss Doreen Kendall and Mrs. Frieda Wilson, Cowichan, Vancouver Isl., Canada, 5AM

Report Summary "...Kendall... and... Wilson were nurses at Cowichan District Hospital... at about 5AM, Miss Kendall... went to the window to draw the curtains and let in some fresh air. About 20m distant... she saw a big bright object clearly and in considerable detail: 'The object was circular and had... a top and bottom. The bottom was silvery, like metal, and was shaped like a bowl. There was a string of bright lights round it like a necklace. The top was a dome made of something like glass. It was lit up from the inside...' ... What she saw inside the dome was two male-like figures, facing to her right, away from the hospital. The one in front appeared taller, or was perhaps positioned higher... Their heads were encased in close fitting dark material... The object began to tilt... the one in front was standing in front of an instrument panel... 'staring at the panel as if something very important was going on, and I wondered if they might have had mechanical trouble.'... the other figure turn[ed to] look at her... '...the one in front reached down and took hold of something like a lever beside him... He pushed back and forth and the saucer... started to circle slowly, still close to the building in an anti-clockwise direction.'... two other nurses... rushed to the window... but saw only 'a bright light' receding in the distance... in the same neighborhood, a man and his wife... saw a huge white light, as big as a house, hovering over their home..."[footnote 1]
