Subject: Railroad tracks at Jackass Flats--FYI

In answer to someone's query about tracks at Jackass Flats, yes there
are tracks there.  They were used to move the rocket engine from the
assembly-disassembly buildings out to the test pad.  When I worked there
in early to mid 60s, the project wasn't a ram jet, but a nuclear powered
rocket engine using lhydrogen as the fuel.  (The hydrogen was heated by
the reactor, then run to the rocket engine.)
