Yipee! Their search system is new, and as you might guess, buggy. It takes a while (and a bit of educated guesswork) to find what you're looking for. http://www.coresw.com Has a searchable database of Russian (Sovinformsuptnik- HiRes), French (SPOT series), and American (Landsat) imagery that has *preview* images you can download. There are three big caveats, however: *You need to register to use it, though it's FREE *You need pretty precise coordinates to find what you're looking for. Glenn has a great set for Groom and Papoose Lakes on his site, but finding images of other interesting places (Holloman, Marana, Tonopah, Beale, Edwards, Yongbyon, etc.) takes a bit of book work. The Delorne atlases are great for finding coordinates though, and, again, the Research Center has the full set for the USA. *Their search engine is only a few months new and is somewhat buggy. You'll get a good percentage of "sludge" hit- images you don't want. Forinstance, when seaching Landsat for Groom, I regularly get images of my home state of NJ (Cape May- nice pics of the Coast Guard Acadamy and the ferry) and Italy. Use at your own frustration. I'd recommend Core Software's ImageNet site for advanced researchers right now. Dan Z
