From: cls@cyberwaves.com (Craig Statham) Date: Tue, 21 Jan 1997 04:27:17 GMT Subject: new area 51? I posted this a while back.. On the show Sightings several years ago they did a story about an area in Colorado Called UFO valley. The show said that the town where they were filming had seen several several UFO type objects, and low flying Air force Fighters buzzing the town "almost". They said that there were AF bases in the area. In some research they came across a request that the Air force had made to congress for funds to build a facility Call the western research center or WRC for short. That was in the mid 1980's. But the request was denyed. The thing is that Air space from the eastern corner of colorado to the White Sands Missle Range in New Mexico was requested reclassified by request of the USAF above a certain altitude of which I don't remember. has anyone heard of this?
