Members of the Usenet Cabal are cordially invited to an open day and
barbecue to be held at Area 51 on Saturday 5th July.

Guest of honour will be our top disinformation agent Majel Barrett-
Shatner, who has worked tirelessly over the past three decades promoting
the lie that alien races are friendly and that our fundamental
differences can be resolved through negotiation and better
understanding.

Also present will be John Loengard, who will be signing copies of his
latest book "The Hive at Redmond".

There will be a creche facility with kiddies attractions, including our
ever-popular levitating disks ride.

The main attraction of the day, though, is the barbecue.  We are having
a clear-out of our refrigerators here, and we hope to use up various
meat products which are in cold storage, before their 50-year freezer
life expires.

Cabal members for whom travel is awkward may take advantage of a ride
from their front door.  Please get in touch through the usual channels,
and be prepared to state whether unmarked van or helicopter is
preferred.

As they say in The Office, "Be there, or be Reticulan".
