From: Katharina Wilson <kwilson@alienjigsaw.com> A response from Katharina Wilson concerning: campbell@ufomind.com (Glenn Campbell, Las Vegas) Subject: Desert Rat #38: "Project Preserve Destiny" <<Quotes>> have been taken directly from "THE DESERT RAT" - Issue #38. Nov. 7, 1997 KW: I'd like to thank both Dan Sherman and Glenn Campbell. My comments below are not intended to sound overly skeptical. I am trying to ask logical questions about the information that was provided and compare it with what we already know. We need to be careful how we associate different types of information that appear to have much in common, but in the end, may not be related at all. <<Sherman's book, in contrast, seems quite original. It offers a new synthesis of popular themes, including alien abduction, genetic manipulation, government cover-up, alien-government collusion and the growth categories of remote viewing and psychokinesis. Regardless of its veracity, we expect this book to have a significant impact on the direction of the UFO movement....>> KW: With my knowledge of alien abductions - which is quite extensive, I read very little new information being offered by Sherman in that area of ufology. Abductees have been reporting *for years* that: (1) they have seen military personell working alongside the aliens (2) they have been shown and have been given information about genetic manipulation of themselves, other abductees and animals (3) they have seen evidence of psychokinesis; for example when the aliens levitate themselves with thought that produces movement; and placing their hands on the abductee to mask or remove their pain (4) they have described underground bases as well as military bases (5) One abductee whom I know quite well has even described being in a warehouse with boxes around them with the word "Langley" written on them [All of these have been documented in (the late) Dr. Karla Turner's book "Taken," and in my monograph "Project Open Mind" located on my web site.] <<He was told that he had a special "intuitive" ability that had been genetically engineered by aliens during an abduction of his mother in the early 1960s. (He expresses as much surprise as we do.)>> KW: Abductees (via their mothers) have been told, and have been telling others for years how they were altered while in the womb, taken out and placed back, etc. The idea of being altered and/or trained for a future mission - something else that abductees have been reporting for a number of years - is not new. <<He was told that this form of communication, under the name of "Project Preserve Destiny," was being developed because at some point in earth's future all electromagnetic communication would be disrupted, but he was given no details.>> KW: It is illogical that ICs are trained on computers and depend on those computers to communicate with the alleged aliens. When the power goes down - so will computers. Does this make sense? - No. If an IC has always used a computer to communicate with aliens, chances are that he will not be so good at it when EM comms are disrupted. <<Now, Sherman is giving us a reason for that manipulation: The aliens are genetically preparing our offspring for psychic communication later in life. Soon, we predict, we'll be hearing a lot more about this in abduction circles.>> KW: Again - there is nothing new here. We have ALREADY been hearing about this from abductees for a number of years. Abductees have reported time and time again that they have been in contact with some type of alien being since birth; that they have been commnicating with them off and on throughout their lives; that they are being PREPARED for a big event in the future - some believe it will be Worldwide earth changes, others believe it will be a World war. <<The UFO subculture seems ready for this kind of claim right now.>> KW: What exactly is a UFO "subculture"? How much more of a "subculture" can one in be when they are emersed in ufology? KW: Serious researchers are not bored with what we are learning. There is much important information coming from the people who have experienced this phenomenon. It may seem "old hat" to some, but nothing has stopped. The information is all around us and more and more people are coming forward with their accounts every day. <<This is because psychic "information exchange" has come to be widely known and accepted, especially remote viewing. Even hardware-oriented ufologists (i.e. males) are more open to psychic claims these days because there seems to be some experimental evidence for them.>> KW: Excuse me? What about female ufologists and researchers, not to mention the thousands of female Engineers in the World? <<Sherman's book adds a slightly more plausible dimension by saying that the aliens are far more reliable in the psychic domain than we are. Sherman indicates that his communication sessions were dominated primarily by the aliens and that he himself has shown no psychic ability outside of those controlled conditions.>> KW: That may be because Sherman had to take two pills everyday prior to his IC training and IC comms. He wasn't told what the pills were; his senior officers (Captains) said they didn't know why he had to take them or what they were, other than they would help him comm better... This should raise some red flags. Abductees don't need computers OR pills to communicate with aliens - aliens are telepathic. There is some faulty logic in this. <<This project seemed to treat its people like laboratory rats, which works only in the laboratory or in the minds of military planners.>> KW: Bingo - You may be on to the true nature of PPD: It may have been just that; an experiment on an unwitting soldier. Sherman even says in his book that he believed that one of the "onion" layers for this black project was the study of noise cancellation. Noise cancellation and the use of white noise and/or frequencies to mask out sounds - are used in **senory deprivation experiments.** <<In all, we are pleased that Sherman stuck to the facts and created a story worthy of attention.>> KW: I, too, am glad that Sherman published his information. I believe that Sherman told the truth as he honestly experienced it and remembers it. However, we should be very careful what we read into the story. There is so much information that has been made public via abduction experiencers, that we may want to see a relationship where none exists. KW: I don't believe every abduction story I hear, and I don't expect everyone to believe or understand my memories. All I - all "we" can do is to honestly tell others what we experienced. I wonder though, would we be so quick to embrace PPD if it came from "Sharon" instead of "Sherman"? What if Sherman had not been in the military, but was a civilian? Would we still be so eager to believe? Katharina Wilson http://www.alienjigsaw.com The Alien Jigsaw Puzzle Publishing
