If a pilot is ordered to stay out of an area, a competent pilot should be able to follow instructions. Groom Lake is an area where future airforce design decisions are tested. For obvious reasons, what we are interested in, should be confidential. the UFO conspiracy buffs are a cheap way of looking into an important area of our strategic development (what designs we test). No doubt they have been financed by the KGB. Groon Lake is a "secure area". If a pilot has not figured out (after over a year of training) what this means, it makes sense to dump them in very hot (or solid CO2 cold) water. They have demonstrated that they are incapable of obeying rudimentary orders. -ac-
