The complete dossier on one of the most intriguing close encounter
cases. While driving on a rural road near New Caney, Texas, in
Dec. 1980,
Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum and Vickie's gradson encountered
a diamond-shaped craft hovering above the highway, apparently
escorted by military helicopters. The incident, they claim,
resulted in serious injuries akin to radiation burns.
This book by the principle investigator of the case
contains interviews, reports, drawings, medical reports
and correspondence
covering every aspect of the case, from the incident itself
to the vain legal attempt to seek compensation from the government.
Rarely does a book cover a single case with such detail.

About the Author
JOHN SCHUESSLER has been involved in the United States manned space
program since 1962 and a UFO researcher since 1965. He is a founding
member of the Mutual UFO Network, Inc., is presently the Deputy
Director for Administration, a consultant in Astronautics, and a member
of the Board of Directors. As a staff member he has written numerous
articles for Skylook and the MUFON UFO Journal and has
been a featured speaker at MUFON symposia eight times. He administers
the MUFON Medical Committee, composed of consultants with medical
degrees.
He is currently a member of the UFO Research Coalition Board of
Directors. He was a founding member and past President of the UFO
Study Group of Greater St.Louis, Inc. He was also a founding member
of the Houston-based Vehicle Internal Systems Investigative Team
(VISIT). He is a member of the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) and
the Houston UFO Network (HUFON).
John is employed in the aerospace industry and has been involved in the
engineering side of most of the U.S. manned space programs, from ~
Project Mercury to the International Space Station. His primary field of
interest is technology of the future. He holds a Master of Science
degree in Studies of the Future, Technology-Forecasting, from the
University of Houston Clear Lake.
John has demonstrated a long-standing interest in advanced propulsion
concepts as indicated by the data in many UFO reports. He has
approached his research in this area through the examination of the
effects of UFO close encounters on human systems. In 1996 he cata-
loged his research in a book entitled UFO-Related Human
Physiological Effects. He has appeared on numerous radio and tele-
vision shows such as That's Incredible, Good Morning
America,
Unsolved Mysteries, In
Search Of,
Sightings and Strange
Universe.
