Opinion of the webmaster, subject to debate

This is a review of the world's fantastic claims, from UFOs to sea monsters to prophesies to government conspiracies. A catchy title and fine writing set this forteana book apart. You don't read this book for its scientific accuracy, however. Many ridiculous claims are stated as fact without any attempt to support them. Keel reminds us of the Baron von Munchausen: The tales he spins sound like total B.S., but he is so entertaining that you can let it pass.
