So just how good could a novel be titled Element 115 ? Surprisingly, it's not bad. The references to 115 do seem to be a bit contrived, and serve as shallow window dressing for a more complex, but standard issue, secret agent story. Many would say that any references to element 115 should be in a work of fiction, but we digress....What makes this story a little different is the hero is actually a heroine (Well, it is the 90s). Did we mention there lots of sex in the story? More sex than aliens, and even alien sex. Hotcha! It's also a looong book, guaranteed to keep you out of trouble for a while. Is it great literature? Not at all, but it is an amusing diversion for a rainy day (actually several rainy days). -- tm

Combining the conspiracy theories of extraterrestrial presence on earth, the government's involvement and cooperation with aliens, cover-ups, dangerous experiments on human subjects, and speculation from quantum physics on parallel universes, the author has created a rollicking good adventure, replete with sex, action and a mind-bending twist that will leave the reader wanting more.
For fans of popular television shows such as The X-Files, Dark Skies, The Burning Zone and Sliders, as well as UFO buffs and aficionados of conspiracy literature, this book will satisfy your tastes. For those interested in a high-action adventure with plenty of erotic intrigue and romance. there's something here for you, as well.
The author has managed to combine elements of science fiction with political intrigue to create a novel that is fast-paced and highly entertaining. She points out. that she is not a literary writer. she writes only in an attempt to entertain.
Entertainment is an apt description for this novel. Within pages it hooks the reader and takes him on a wild ride, slowing only occasionally, long enough to allow you to catch your breath before it soars again.
The author claims that her stories are not meant to inform and yet there are elements within it that tempt the reader to head for the Internet to seek out information. The information base of this novel is cleverly hidden within the story, but there, nonetheless.
If an entertaining read is something you want, then give this book a try. You won't be disappointed.
