A curious hodge-podge of data only loosely inspired by Area 51. This book is mostly for radio buffs, and the Groom Lake information it contains comes mainly from the internet -- including guides to Mt. Stirling and Tikaboo Peaks, info on buying maps, portions of the notorious cammodude security manual, and claimed radio frequencies for Area 51 and the Nellis Range. The rest of the book consists of plans for electronic devices inspired by Groom Lake evesdropping. There are a bevy of electronic projects for do-it-yourselfers, starting with such simple things as laser detectors and parabolic microphones, leading up to truly strange items such as radiation and gravitational field disturbance detectors (Does Bob Lazar have one of these?). While these projects include all necessary schematics and parts lists, be warned that the projects are a bit on the simple side for the experienced electronic whiz and of no interest at all to those without electronic inclinations. The book also contains some info on night photography, and a collection of area photos. -- tm
