Explanation of Ratings
Credibility = High: While the existence of each creature is debatable and some are clearly imaginary, the test sticks close to the available references.
Style = Awkward: Drawing are relatively crude.

Based on popular UFO literature, here is a alien "field guide",
with a drawing of each creature and an account of how it
was sighted.
The author's make no representation that any of these aliens
are real, but they do provida a "reliability index" for each.
You can find Travis Walton's aliens here, as well as
Ashtar Command, the "Roswell Autopsy" alien and the movie-prop
alien that Penthouse was duped into buying photos of.
The drawing themselves could be better, but the descriptions
seem complete and balanced.
As included are reviews of several supposed alien photos
and a chronological list of UFO occupant sightings.

From the Book Cover
In every corner of the world, over the past century, people have been reporting encounters with a
huge array of alien beings -- some tall and human-looking, some hairy and monstrous, some
reptilian-looking, and even some that defy conventional description. In Faces of the
Visitors,UFO expert Kevin Randle and documentary producer and artist Russ Estes have teamed
up to produce an essential reference guide to the most important close encounters, alien contactee
cases, abductions, and reported photos of aliens. Each of the over fifty entries is based on actual
eyewitness accounts and includes:
- A stunning description of each alien and the
name of its home world, if known
- A unique reliability rating, on a scale from 0 to 10
- A gripping
you-were-there narration of the encounter,
along with meticulous documentation of source
material
>Faces of the Visitors also offers a complete chronological
database on the often overlooked but
extremely important Euro-South American visitation wave of 1954 and the North American wave
of 1973, as well as a comprehensive bibliography of important books, magazine articles, and
journals. It is a fascinating reference for anyone curious about alien visitation and an unequaled
source for those who want to learn more about their own experiences.
KEVIN RANDLE, a sought-after expert on UFOs, is the author of several books
on alien phenomena, including The UFO Casebook
and UFO Crash at Roswell. He lives in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Russ Estes has worked in many aspects of the
entertainment industry. He most recently produced the
documentaries Roswell Remembered and
The Magic and Mystery of Giant Rock. He lives in
Southern California.
